Hi, I’m Suchi—a certified counselling psychologist with a Master’s in Applied Psychology (Counselling & Clinical Psychology), along with a diploma in counselling.

I don’t see therapy as something that follows a fixed formula. The way I work is eclectic—shaped around you, your experiences, and what feels most helpful in the moment.

What matters to me is creating a space that feels steady and real, where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.

A big part of my work is influenced by Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). So while we do sit with what feels difficult, we also look at what’s already holding — even in small ways — and how that can be built on.
Because sometimes, things aren’t as stuck as they feel.

Yes. All sessions take place online via secure video calls. This allows you to attend therapy from a space where you feel comfortable — whether that’s your home, office, or a quiet corner with a good internet connection.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’ve thought “I wish I understood this” or “I need help,” therapy can help. People come for anxiety, stress, relationships, or self-understanding—you don’t need to have it all figured out to start.

How many sessions will I need?

There’s no one-size-fits-all—some come for a few sessions, others for ongoing support. We’ll check in regularly and adjust as needed. The pace is always guided by what feels right for you.

What approaches do you use in therapy?

Sama Mind sessions use an integrative approach, combining methods like CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to help you understand patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours — and build healthier responses.

How long is each session?

Each session lasts 50 minutes. Think of it as dedicated time for you — a space to pause, reflect, and work through what’s on your mind.

How do I book a session?

​You can book a session directly through the Book Online section on the Sama Mind website. Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive all the details you need for the session.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

​If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so the time can be offered to someone else who may be waiting.
