About the founder
Suchi Thakrar
Hi, I’m Suchi, a certified counselling psychologist and the founder of Sama Mind. I believe everyone has an inner strength waiting to be discovered, and I feel lucky to witness that in the work I do. I take a calm, thoughtful approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, SFBT, mindfulness, and family therapy—basically, a mix of tools to help you make sense of life and find your balance.

Life can be unpredictable—sometimes confusing, sometimes frustrating, and sometimes just plain exhausting. My role is to walk alongside you through it all, helping you find clarity, steady your footing, and make sense of what’s happening, all in a calm, supportive, and down-to-earth way.

When I’m not in sessions, you’ll probably find me traveling to somewhere new, exploring nature, or getting a bit competitive on the sports field. I’m endlessly curious about the world and the people in it, and I love discovering ways—big or small—to make a positive difference.

My goal is simple: to provide a space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered, so you can move through life with more ease, clarity, and confidence.
